Terms of Service
These terms cover the Shopify applications published by Liquid Monks. Installing one means accepting them.
What we provide
PriorCopy takes snapshots of your store's content, shows you what changed between them, and restores content you ask it to restore. It is a tool for recovering from unwanted changes to products and store content. It does not back up theme files.
What we do not claim
No backup tool can restore everything, and we will not pretend otherwise. Orders cannot be honestly re-created — a re-created order carries a fabricated payment record and corrupts every financial report that touches the period. Records that have to be re-created rather than updated receive new Shopify IDs, which breaks anything keyed to the old ID, such as Google Merchant Center, Meta catalogs, and historical order line items.
Where that happens, we hand you a table naming exactly what changed and what needs repointing. The app shows you a coverage report of what is and is not protected in your store before you pay, not after.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your Shopify account secure; anyone with admin access to your store can trigger a restore
- Review a restore before confirming it — restores preview by default and require explicit confirmation
- Use the app only on stores you are authorised to administer
Billing
All charges are handled through Shopify's billing system and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from within the app, without contacting us. Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription. We do not issue charges outside Shopify's billing system.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Scheduled snapshots may be delayed by Shopify API limits or maintenance. If a snapshot cannot be completed, the app tells you plainly rather than recording a partial snapshot as a successful one.
Data
Your store content remains yours. You can export it at any time, from the first day of your trial — there is no waiting period and no support ticket required. What we collect and how long we keep it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Liquid Monks is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You may uninstall at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or Shopify's, and will tell you why. On uninstall we email you an export of your data and then delete it within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
